Answering, “Tell me a weakness.”

The “What’s your greatest weakness?” question isn’t an invitation to self-sabotage, it’s a quick check for self-awareness, maturity, and coachability. The best answers are honest but strategic: choose a real weakness that won’t raise red flags for the role, briefly explain how it’s shown up, and then spend most of your time on what you’ve done to improve (feedback you took, systems you built, habits you changed, and the results you’re seeing). Keep it concise, avoid cliches like “I’m a perfectionist,” and end with confidence.
